Katy's Designs on Nature
In the fall of 2011, the offices of Integrated Financial started to serve a dual purpose as a semi-permanent gallery for works of art by the founder's mother, Katherine Trewitt. Her work is evidence that great things usually come from small beginnings.
With the careful touch and eye of the artist, a portion extracted from the digital image of a small pressed lisianthus:

We look forward to the continued additions to the walls of our office as additional pieces are displayed. Due to focus on her creations, commissioned pieces are an exception to the rule. Our clients are welcome to drop by to view the pieces in person during normal business hours. A photo presentation of images as well as pictures from the walls of Katherine's largest gallery showing in 2011 at the Remedy Spa in Dallas may be viewed by playing the presentation below. High resolution scans are designed to produce large prints or canvas for stretched canvases. Both are archival quality, prints are Giclee. Printed professionally in Dallas, Texas. Limited edition prints are signed by artist and shipped from the printers, via FedEx. Shipping cost will be added to the cost of the print or canvas. Examples of costs: 24"x34" print (with 3" mat and frame = 30"x40" picture) - $600 unframed. 24"x24" square = $400/ 34"x34" = $850. Reference for framing company in East Dallas location available.
Katherine Trewitt is inspired by the natural world around her. For over 30 years, she has tended a collection of plants and flowers which she carefully disassembles, processes and lovingly reconstructs into one-of-a-kind creations. These are then scanned at high resolution to capture their complexity and dynamic color. Her process, developed over many years, produce the translucent effect you see in these designs.
Her floral creations, prints and greeting cards have been featured at the Dallas Arboretum Store and the Corner Market Florist.
In 2008, her "Spring Frenzy" collage won 2nd place in the Friends of Lakewood Library Artists’ Show, Dallas, Texas.
Now, late in the 3rd Act of her life, Katherine continues with her ability to capture the wonders of nature and shares these gifts with the internet audience.
